I felt like DH was a desperate attempt to make a show that would "make it," with all its violence and sex dolls. <br /><br />And, you know, it's Whedon, so he was trying to build up the shit so he could bust it back down, but it just didn't work. And again, it's ok to say: hey, dude, great effort, but that just didn't work. <br /><br />As writers, we all take risks. Sometimes those things don't pan out. It's OK to say so and move on. While I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Buffy and the Scoobies, Firefly was his best effort. For something like THAT, I'd even suffer though commercial television and stay up late to watch it!<br /><br />Dollhouse. Meh.
